Now there is most definitely a name that knows whats going on in Hungary. Steve, firstly, whats happening with Machomedia? Do you have any idea? Seems totally unreal that Gergo, Szimpi and the gang have just vanished from the business. I miss being able to pop onto Macho to get my updates of whats happening. I would love to know how Nikki Rider is and how she is doing.

Secondly, you mentioned in a comment "If Kovi wants to futher damage his reputation". Interesting comment. I am so hoping the answer to this is a big "no" but am I responsible for the damage to Kovi's reputation? Kovi did not know anything about what was happening with Victoria and the first he knew was when the story broke. Kovi is an innocent party. Only VS, Mr C, Swingerpapa and I knew. I wanted to tell Kovi sooner but I was warned off from doing so and therefore Kovi was in the dark the whole time.

Finally, I am not sure if you would know this but who is still active from this list - Liz Honey, Nikki Rider and Claudia Ferrari. I have noticed that a lot of Kovi's models seem to have gone to other agencies so I have totally lost contact.

My only contact now with anyone in Hungary is with Swingerpapa's sister but we generally only talk about the weather and insurance policies (for some unknown and strange reason).

Machomedia is going down, cause some damn retard chased away all the people from the business, (i think only Ricardo is there, and posting, and some VIP girls posting sometimes, but not more) - I think it has lost the atmosphere it has before...

Kovi damaged her reputation when he selected Victoria as his leading contract star... Victoria never looked as a pornstar, and never has the mind to be that... U must know why... What Victoria gives in her movies, how she looks, and her working with fake tests made her and her agent quickly out of the biz here... Well, you could imagine, because in her last year, NONE (maybe Lauro Giotto) of Hungarian first class male actors wanted to work with her... Choosing the goodlooking, but much more stupid Virginee, or Roxy Panther as a new star was only a weak try for me.

I don't really know anything about these 3 girls: we made a scene last March with Liz Honey, i think she disappeared from the biz this year. Nikki Rider (as I heard) is doing only shows, and maximum girlgirl scenes nowadays. Claudia Ferrari is out I think, when she performed on an erotic expo last year, she was 90kg's heavy, and alcohol problems.

Re: Machomedia. I used to be contributing for Machomedia and I still consider myself a team-member. What happened is simple. We started MM for fun, we all had some spare time and we were (are) porn fans. Nowadays unfortunately we don't have any (or) enough spare time. Gergo and myself became pro porn photographers (I don't even live in HU), kontentking has a job, Szimpi and the occasional other contributors also. That's the main reason about the MM itself. Also some producers doesn't like to see the BTS reports before the film came out and sometimes the models and some crew were also mad as they try to keep it secret what they're doing for living. That was a constant fight about to have certain pictures removed from the site.
The forum was always a trouble, as we didnt want to limit the freedom of speech until a certain level, we thought the models can defend themselves against the idiots who found enjoyment in talking shit about them.

On the original subject: Yes, the things are changed. There are many factors. The market goes from DVDs to Internet, therefore no (or less) full films with story lines being shot but individual scenes, just straight fuck. Raul Christian and 21st sell much more stuff than the big names.

Also let's face it: the porn models are not actors/actresses, most of them are not even the brightest crayon in the box. I could tell some stories when we struggled for a whole two hours to have a model say just a decent line or two. Some of them have problems to speak their own language not to mention a foreign one. Of course respect for the very few exceptions. I think pointless to shoot lame stories with lame actors and actresses, everyone press FF>>, don't we?

Although I have an observation: now as the economy goes down in Hungary again, more and more girls come to the biz, but they're not plan to stay too long. The agents throw them into as many jobs as possible in the shortest time cause you never know when they'll say goodbye.
They don't want to be stars, they just want to make money quick. Of course many of them ending up escorting cause that is relatively lower profile, some of them even came to the biz only gain a name (and a page on EBI) and then they can go escorting for more money as they can say they're porn stars.
Currently the only new Hungarian star is Boroka, well managed, she's in the HU mainstream media every other day. They choose this way with her bf/manager Ricardo, we'll see if it pays off or not.
Most of them couldn't have more jobs or better prices per scene just because they're "stars" and who needs the spits from the hypocrites on the street or in their families and in day jobs or schools?

Awesome feedback and I completely agree with all that was said.

In regards to your photography Gepont, in my opinion your stuff was always top notch. Gergo, Szimpi and yourself always produced photographs of the highest quality, with interesting angles and interesting ideas.

I have photoshoots from Vic's old site where I received your photo's as "behind the scenes" photos to add if I needed. I actually made a comment on the very day that I received them that kinda went along the lines of "how come the BTS images are all crystal clear and exceptional quality, whereas the actual photographs from the shoot photographer are blurry and fuzzy".

I don't know how you always managed to get very high quality photographs all the time (and this can be seen by looking at any shoot on machomedia) but you have my utmost respect. You, and the other guys at machomedia will be most defintely missed.

It seems that for different reasons both the Czech and Hungarian porn industries are in trouble or in the doldrums. These countries were vying for top spot as porn maker in Europe with close rivalry; so if both are below par, which country is not top porn producer in Europe ? Which city is top porn-making city ? Not Budapest, not Prague ?
