Why don't you travel to Russia to shot some scenes over there, i was there 2 times to visit the Sineplex shootings, Rocco was there for shooting last year, many actors was working there like Joachim, Kid Jamaika, Jazz Duro, Robert Rosenberg, Erik Everhard...........

When was he there?

Erik was there 1.5 or 2 years ago and did a few shots for Sineplex which are all released in 2007. I don't think that he is actually there and also don't plan to got to SPB in the near future.

Its not that easy, chris.
Piter is a difficult place for sure, but the fees are soooo much lower than in Buda/Milan/Prague and the talent pool is so big, that daring directors and companies have to try it. And the fact that its not yet possible to shoot big budget productions there doenst mean its all cheap. The companies you mention are producing cheep for sure, but than please take in account that especially Sineplex invested a lot in their new internet platform. Piter is an excellent place to save money for such projects pointing to the future.
Also for more expensive productions, just have a look how many Italian companies bought one of two Piter shot scenes in their final product!
It may be a crucial moment for St. Peterburg biz, but with money running out, producers have to find cheeper places. Once they finally start to shoot more in Piter the whole business surrounding will change. And also new Russian male talent will surface.

But back to the subject:
I am surprised to read EE shot for Sineplex instead of his own projects, indeed. Why? Maybe that`s just a rumor... Gapelover may know what EE did in SPB...

Giorgio as far as I know still shoots the Piter cuties. And he shoots a lot of daps in Piter because the act has a normal price there and the girls are willing.
Maybe chris doenst like Giorgio`s work anymore, but Giorgio is still still working in St. Peterburg.

Trying to get back to my question again:
Does anybody of you know than why Erik Everhard worked for Sineplex in St. Peterburg and not for his own projects with JJ Video?
Seems strange to me that he made all that long way, just to help another company.
Not to think of the chances he missed...
