in addition to my love of porn i am a huge music fan. What kinda music to you guys like? I am into indie and old stuff. My faves are: the beatles, the who beach boys, david bowie, pink floyd (r.i.p rick wright) and of the newer bands the flaming lips, mercury rev, white stripes and glasvegas. This thread will probably get buried but just felt like talking about something different :)

Interpol are still pretty good, the first album was a stormer. They're like The Editors, only good :).

I dunno about Interpol.. They seem so derivative of the old Manchester/Factory sound, ie Joy Division etc. But they somehow lack the authenticity..

Are they original? Correct me if i'm wrong...

their first album did have joy division influences in its sombre mood and guitar sound. Nyc is the stand out song imho. They are certainly more original than editors who completely rip joy division off. By all accounts interpols last album took a diff direction tho i havent heard it. Anyone like the flaming lips?

Yeah, they're great. I bought their Fearless Freaks documentary too, and that's pretty haunting.
