Yeah! Exactly!
Once finished done material is released (signed by a model), and it is used properly (ie. not braking common national laws or some kind of personal derogation etc.), theres no way for a model to beg for deleting or taking back the release. Moreover the owner of a release can offer to another subjects (ie photos, videos, ...). So EBI is totally safe as soon as its not posting personal data (birth date maybe could be disputable when used with a photo).
The unknown model's post here is realy ridiculous!!! Its just the same as going to a casino, lose a lot of money and then bag for them. Porn is a lottery too. The risk of being recognized by people is just a part of the job - moreover the well paid job!
....... you are exactly bringing it to the very point.
And that is exactly why I personally would never ever delete a models information and why I still shake my head in disbelief that sbando is deleting them.
Of course I do understand the approach of being and gentleman and all, but nevertheless EBI is a collection of information based on what the girls/women have done in their nude and/or porn careers. Adult people they all are. And being judged as adults, they all have the ability to THINK, before they decide to step into the nude or even porn biz. None of them is forced to become a covergirl of any whatsoever famous porn movie.
And if I only read this bollocks about neighbours knowing and family knowing, whatever. Bollocks! Once the money (which of course in at least 95 % of all cases is the prime mover for the ladies) was good at a certain time, they have to live with the fact that once the money was taken, this part of privacy (which the anonymous one from the initial post is asking back) is gone for good. Once and forever.
If they have a problem with that, they should say NO, when someone asks them to work in the nude/porn biz.
Plus, like sbando already mentioned, not everybody is as nice as he is. And since sportyone and all the other pages (at least from what I see) never even think about removing a girl and her information from their sites, my opinion stays: Do not delete any information. You are not doing anything wrong. You are just collecting data and publish the data that has been collected.
