It's pretty sad that this happened to her but it's even more sad that I would probably never know about this girls existence had I not just learned about her disease on Woodman's forum. Her goal is EUR 4500. EUR 2500 is already on the bank. Well, I'm pretty sure a guy with Woodman's financial means could easily donate the remaining EUR 2500. This girl seems to have made many fans and producers very happy over the last couple of years.....many of the producers she worked with are most certainly multi millionaires. 2500 is pocket change to them and certainly they made way more bucks than this EUR 2500 with the videos they shot of her in the past.....But there is one thing I don't quite understand: I would tend to believe that someone with her huge career would have saved-up a decent amount of cash and wouldn't be that broke that she would have a hard time covering her medical bills and would have to live in a house with ants in a Czech Ghetto....

In one sense, Edita [28] mother of Dominic [6] has been very lucky. She was very recently diagnosed with a brain tumour but it was operable and benign. But it was massive as you can see by her scar! There was a real chance she could die or suffer severe complications, like aphasia. She is just out of hospital and trying hard to recover from such a major trial. The operation went well but she is exhausted and forbidden to work for 2 months. After that she must build slowly back to full capacity over about 4 months.
It never rains but it pours. Just before she went into hospital her car was destroyed in a meaningless act of vandalism. This vehicle was very important for her as she lives in an isolated location and her employment relied on it. On recently leaving hospital, she found that her home has been infested with ants. She is almost on her own coping with all this and caring for Dominic. She is exhausted.
Welfare provision for those in anything like Edita's position is very poor in the Czech republic. She doesn't want welfare but to get her health back and go back to work, but she needs a breathing space. She has been independent all her life but frankly isn't now. Her small family is extremly poor.
So we ask for 4500 euros to PREVENT her from going back to work and give her several months to concentrate on her recovery and Dominic.
