At the end of the day we can forget about enticing people to pay money who are willing to spend ours of surfing around sharers forums and torrent sites. The added value we can offer is simply more user friendliness. Just like anyone can get a stolen version of Windows or the Adobe tools off the torrents but if I buy them I know they will just work out of the box and I don't end up ours installing little cracks and activators. I exchange valuable time for a little money. 17 year old highschool kids have tons of time on their hands to surf around forums with half-dead links and they have very little money. IMO a waste of time to convince them to pay for porn. Once they work and have their hands full with a 80 hour week some of them might come around
I estimate due to pirated content you lose about 20-30% of clients who normally would pay. Also you don't need to spent much time with searching, kicka** for torrents, girlsscan*** for a favorite girl and that's it. I know many people who could afford to spend 100's of Dollars each month and it wouldn't hurt. But they take for free what they can get for free.
The problem is not that people can not pay, the problem is they don't want to pay. Tubes, sharing and pirated stuff indoctrinates people that porn is something for free. The kids learn this with 17 years, but later when they have a well paid job it is still in their heads and they still know how to get that one scene within 5 minutes via a simple search.
Porn biz' big players missed it to create a head orhganization and do some proper PR within last 30 years. and moreover missed it to smash the tubes in their beginning while they were small...

and you will have to spend a lot in advertising to reach a slice of them.
Hahaha one of the biggest fairy tails, piracy traffic sucks even more than tube traffic and more over brings other bad guys who consider everyone has the right to watch porn for free, even if others had to produce it for hard cash.
