As you can see, we have a couple of stickies here, the swallowing index and the dap list. They both survived the EBT break-up and they're now a permanent fixture.

Some other big ass threads manage to stay on top without any special status, but some brilliant contributors are asking to have their lists stickied.

I know that having too many stickies on top can be really annoying and distracting but there aren't A-list and B-list threads.

So, how would you like us to sort this out?

Alternative solutions are also well-accepted.

I think Stickies are ok but there can not be too many. I'd say max 5 Stickies in each forum!

I'm fine with the way things are. I think you should save stickies for forum announcements and forum rules etc.

Frankly spoken, I think that only announcements and/or proclaimers of forum rules or changes of the forementioned should be made sticky.

That´s why? Because all topics that have a big number of readers always manage to stay sorta on top, or at least on one of the first 2 or 3 pages. Other than that these topics are not "hot" enough to be discussed 24/7. Which leads me to the conclusion to even make unsticky these EBT survivors - no offense to those who opened these topics and to the contributors - because otherwise you will have a hard time to explain to other users, why their topics are not sticky.....
