Gossip Girl star-turned-goth rocker Taylor Momsen is rarely surprised by fan antics at her shows after watching a couple make love right in front of her.
The former child star, who once confronted Jim Carrey's The Grinch in How The Grinch Stole Christmas, isn't that innocent any more thanks to the crazy behaviour of her devotees at The Pretty Reckless concerts.
Momsen reveals women strip off onstage and lesbian fans attempt to get a little too intimate with her mid-song, but the craziest thing that she has ever witnessed was a sexed-up couple making out in the front row.
She tells Revolver magazine, "We had a couple having sex during our show in San Francisco, literally f**king in front of the stage. It was crazy... They got away with it. And they were going at it for a while."
Momsen can recall the moment that shows went from being all about the music to boozy near-orgies of flesh flashing and debauchery, adding, "It was in a club inside a church. This girl just jumped up onstage and took her clothes off and started dancing. We didn't have security or anything at this small club, so we went with it. And it became a thing.
"Everyone started doing it at our shows. It became crazy. It's totally fun - girls taking their tops off and dance onstage. Awesome."
But one female fan went too far when she decided to treat the rocker to an oral sex session onstage during a gig.
Momsen explains, "She tried to go down on me, literally. I had a dress on, and she started pulling up my skirt and, like, going down on her knees trying to pull my underwear down. So I grabbed her head and threw her to the side."
Singer/actress Taylor Momsen has defended her decision to pose nude for the cover of her latest album, insisting she was trying to emulate classic artwork by Eric Clapton.
The Gossip Girl star sparked a storm of controversy this month when she unveiled the racy buttock-baring photograph which will feature on the cover of Going to Hell, the new album by her band The Pretty Reckless.
However, Momsen is adamant she did not intend to grab headlines by stripping off, as she just wanted to create an iconic cover shot like the semi-nude picture featured on Clapton's 1975 live album E. C. Was Here.
She tells Hungertv.com, "I was trying to make a classic photo like the album covers I love, like (Pink Floyd's) Wish You Were Here or Clapton's E.C. Was Here. I honestly never thought about the nudity thing, I was trying to express that when we leave this world, you don't take nothing with you but our soul..."
