I'd go with early to mid 1990s... Private Video Magazine started in 1991, Pierre Woodman's amazing Tower and Gigolo movies were around 1995, and all featured aggressive hard anal and DPs, A2M (at least in Towers 2 and 3 and later PVMs) and double anal (first DAP I watched was Ildiko's in PVM 20 released in 1995).

I doubt much porn like this existed before then, essentially hard anal porn started with the fall of the Berlin Wall in my opinion, as that's when the do-it-all Eastern Euro honeys became available and directors like Pierre started to 'mine' that profitable seam (or rather their backdoors )

Ildiko in PVM20 (1995) - I almost forgot her!
Her anal/dap was much harder than Eniko`s in JYL`s Assman 1 and CCs Euro Angels 2 released both in 1997.
When Pierre Woodman started his PVM in 1991 is was still pretty soft. But by 1993/5 he had reached a more enveloppe pulling anal approach.

I have a funny anecdote for you guys who will make you understand how things have changed !

Of course anal exist in porn since the beginning but yes it was always " cool " until Stagliano and me arrived in the industry ! John did the famous " buttman workout with Rocco " and me I started the Private video department ( they already have done the PVM n° 1 in 1990 but they didn't want do video anymore ! ) It has been a nightmare to convince Berth Milton to accept the idea to make videos.
Then he asked me to recrut two directors and I did it with Linzy Honey aka BEND DOVER later and Bill Wright aka FRANCK THRING later. But the funny story to explain how all have changed is the following :

In february 1993 I brought to Stockholm JY Lecastel and Betty Gabor + A pretty French new actrice ( I forgot her name ). Franck Thring was under my wing for the shooting and I was giving him instructions about how to do and he was very upset that a " photographer " give him orders. Then came the moment when I told Betty to seat in anal on JYL's dick face for me and request the french girl to take off the dick and suck it !!! Believe it or not but Franck Thring went throat up in the toilett and was furious. Then he went to the Private office and did a huge scandal telling to Milton that this french guy ( me ! ) was totaly insane and no one will like see so discusting things in a porn movie ...
When you see what Franck did later for Private and today for Brazzers, it's really funny I think and shows how porn has evolued in few years from soft style to very hard, particulary when Rocco has started his own productions ...
