The mystery of Russian porn

I've been wondering quite a lot about the lack of background information/biographies about Russian porn stars (especially the 3 most "dominant" males: Timur, Sasha and Yura from TCC) in comparison to the US ones.
When a certain US guy has been around the block for so long and has done the same unbelieveable amount of scenes as these guys, he'd have already gained a certain famous "persona", or, at least, have information about him available online, interviews, etc.

I know most people aren't really interested in that, but I do. These guys seem to have quite interesting stories behind them.
For example - Timo and Sasha. As much as I know, real life brothers, born in Georgia. What got them into porn? How do they feel about working together?
Or Yura, a guy working pretty much exclusively for one big network that's shooting a very extreme content and has no "porn name" nor any kind of information about him, at all (not to mention the lack of any kind of info about the director of the TCC network's videos, Andrew (?)).

I don't know, it's just the kind of things I'm really curious about and never seem to get/find an answer.
Was wondering if anybody feels the same.

Well, about him and Timur having been born in Georgia - you're right, there's no indication for that. iadf says "He is ethnical Georgian" so I was quick to make assumptions.

I'm still very interested in learning about Yura (performer) and Andrew (director) of TCC. Wonder what's going on with them... ?

Oh_harle says KGB and criminal... What's KGB got to do with porn? I mean I know FSB is pretty much a criminal network as well as a spy agency these days but porn?

And ok it makes sense that mafia would be involved in the creation of porn but do we know to what extent it is the case in Russia? I mean, we all know the stories of slavery and sex trafficking run by the Russian mafia, so maybe they use some of these girls in their films? But then that doesn't make sense when you see Mandy Dee and Hennesy but then again maybe someone else is taking a 75% cut of whatever they make....

Nobody knows what exactly happened. In comments on the interview, btw, Sasha refutes that his bro or himself have smth to do with it.
And i said about KGB as a joke, mostly. For sure, no buisness in Russia misses these guys, but thats the border for my assumptions

Without accusing Timo or anybody but there was probably issues of money involved. I might have hinted before that I like to watch a lot of stuff about crime. If the biz in Russia works like the Bada Bing then maybe girls borrow money from the producers and then work off the debt. It's just a guess but.....

I also think it's a big mystery how so many of the girls from Russia so very quickly disappear. Just take a look at the model cards and say compare them to Czech or Hungarian girls. OK there are a few girls that don't too much work but the network there is developed; you can find out what happened to them because they've worked with Woodman, Christoph Clark or Rocco. The Russian girls appear very quickly, do some work, and then vanish. Even if they had great potential in terms of how they looked. They type of good looking girls an agent, not a pimp, would want to try and keep in the biz. To me that's the greatest mystery of Russian porn; the way new girls appear all the time and for very, very short periods.

Maybe not at all porn related, though.
Reading through the commentary page of that Sasha interview I doubt the brothers or their talent scout Andrej have something to do with it.

The interview is too long to translate.
But I dont get a picture of Sasha being a cynic jerk out of it. Its rather the story of an underdog climbing from the fringe of Piter society to some fame, good cloths, beautiful gf etc. not loosing an inner stability in all of that. Later in the discussion his comments about some Piter porn starlets sound quite harsh. Also his language maybe too vulgar for some.

Not very understandable at times, as google doenst understand street level Russian, but still much better than nothing.
In the original the interview shows a lot of Sasha aka Oliver Strellys personality. We actually do get a better picture than with many US actors, sinatra!
