Is Portugal the only location for scenes with palm trees?

Everytime I see a scene in which a eurobabe gets rocked in the great outdoors with palm trees in the background, I always wonder where the location is. I know Ibiza is the setting for lots of films but that can't be where most web scenes are shot. So is it Portugal? It can't be anywhere else in Europe.

Where exactly in Portugal? Perhaps I might catch a glimpse through binoculars of a scene being shot, on my next vacation. :::

And who are the owners of the mansions where scenes are shot? Just random rich people?

Lmao.. well that can be in Portugal.. we have many hotels like that near the beach.. but also south of Spain, italy, etc.. Mediterran countries have a nice coast with 5* hotels
