This normally needs at least basic skills about IP-Adressing.

Give this Firefox addon a try. It´s very easy to use and allows to switch to non-standard proxy server.

Right now I do not have a VPN Server available, but if one have he could maybe allow the Russian cuties to host their notebooks, PC´s with their LAN.
That would allow them access websites blocked in Russia.
