However, I disagree with this part:

In recent years the word ‘milf’ (an acronym for ‘mother I’d like to fuck’) has entered the lexicon not only of porn but of laddish discourse generally as a favourable term denoting any woman considered to be more mature but remaining desirable. (I’m not even sure that motherhood is necessarily a prerequisite of being called a ‘milf’ anymore.) It’s a term which fairly describes the women of ‘The Milf Café’, J. F. Romagnoli’s latest movie for Private. Having said that, the hostess of The Milf Café, Mandy Bright, has a long association with Private as a leading star, and I do have some mixed feelings about seeing her cast under the ‘milf’ classification now: I suppose it’s time, but I still prefer to think of her as bigger than any niche label she might become stuck with. And arguably performers like Kathy Sweet, Kristi Lust and Mya Diamond don’t need the ‘milf’ tag defining their image just yet, as they remain hot by any standard.

In an interview about ‘The Milf Café’, Romagnoli has stated that, “I wanted to show sex in a realistic way with hot women you can encounter in normal life.” One of the connotations of the term ‘milf’ has become a sort of sexiness associated with ‘real life’ - with a lifestyle context of commitments, complications and responsibilities which tend to go with being older. But Romagnoli shows his ‘milfs’ in only one context, the context of the porn fantasy. The Milf Café is a bar-cum-restaurant owned by mature women and specialising in sexual services for ‘milfs’ provided by a male team of bartenders and waiters. Like their younger counterparts in other porn movies, the women of The Milf Café have only one thing on their minds - getting laid! And in answer to Romagnoli’s point about “normal life”, I’d say that, when it comes to desirability and glamour, most of his female cast would stand head-and-shoulders above the women patrons of the cafes, bars and restaurants where I come from!

‘Milf’ porn has undoubtedly become very popular. For fans of that genre, this is definitely a must-see movie. But I guess what I’ve been saying is that you don’t have to be a card-carrying devotee of porn with more mature women to find ‘The Milf Café’ a turn-on. It’s a well-crafted film for anyone who likes to see hot sex with hot stars, and there’s a high jizz quotient for cumshot enthusiasts.

As I heard on hotvideo (from another director) and realized when looking at your release schedule PRIVATE seemed to have taken a creative break and is now back! If I got it right, the director talked of a more internet oriented strategy that PRIVATE wants to pursue in the future. Can you explain about that? I guess those changes were influenced by the new CEO- who came from a DVD/VOD-site as far as I remember?

I think it's like apples and oranges. USA has many porn stars who have been active since 1980s and early 1990s, a fact that enables American MILF (and even GILF) porn have a constant supply of experienced and good-looking actresses. To be honest, most of them look classier and sexier than today's average American porn slut. We don't have such a phenomenon and with all those beautiful young girls who are way higher in quality than their counterparts in America, MILF porn is likely to stay as a fetish niche in Europe.

Thanks for the welcome, secluded observer. It's nice to be here among like-minded lovers of hot Eurobabes Yes it is true, Private is now back in action with more creative energy than ever. We are certainly taking a more internet-oriented strategy, as that is the direction that everything is going in and we are just moving with our customers' tastes. Just as porn went from xxx cinemas to video, then to DVD, it is now going towards new media forms like the internet and mobile handsets. That entails new forms of distribution, but that does not mean Private's core values will change. Certainly new trends emerge, but the company's essential values will be the same: high quality with hot girls. We'll keep producing movies for all channels, not just online (but we do have our Specials, which are more online-driven).

Thanks Sam for this general overview. I guess the PRIVATE fans would be interested in some more details: for instance which line you will continue or which will be new (I read about a line called "Private Independent") and which line will be designed for which media. I must admit I've lost a bit orientation what the PRIVATE product lines a concerned. Some words on that would be a great help!
