You and me both. Camera One generally does a SHIT job of filming this scene - too far away from the action and no real close-ups to speak of. If camera views switch during a video and I can't tell (from the distance) - if its camera one or camera two filming right now - somebody is doing something wrong.

Focus and composition are 2 different things in the photography/videography context. That grid is for rule of thirds, and is to help with composing a shot, not focusing.

Exactly, I was just about to point out the same thing, but you got there before me. In this contect it's important to make a difference between "focus" as in making sure the most important element in the picture is sharp and clear, and "framing" which is making sure the elements in the picture is placed where you want them in the frame, and the grid can help you with that.

What we want from cam1 is basically a centered head shot. Of course the camera should use different angles depending on the action to get the best views and some variation, but regardless of the angle the head should be in the center of the frame. (I personally like if the camera sometimes pan out a bit between the cumshots and swallowing, like in the original videos, but that's another thing.)

But it's worth pointing out that the closer the camera is to the head, the more difficult it is to keep the head centered within the frame, since even small movements affect the framing when the object is so close. The grid does not really help that much with that.

I don't know if it's an intentional decision or not (my guess is it isn't) and it isn't every video, but it seems that what we understand as the "close" or cam 1 view seems to be getting farther and farther from the model, which I find disappointing. I hope PB makes note of it and corrects going forward.
