One has to look at why most models model. Getting laid by a lot of different handsome men is one of the three main reasons most women model. (Note that I said "most." There are definitely exceptions. Some of them would really surprise you.)

The model lives it up from the time she's in her teens. Someone with truly outstanding looks typically has a blast living like a porn star in real life and has no interest in doing the same things on camera. She's having fun, she's partying, she's getting laid by a bunch of guys— why do it on camera?

Until...

Until their balls-to-the-walls lifestyle starts to affect their looks around age 30 or so.

The modeling contracts start to dry up, they have to use more an more makeup, and many of them finally make the plunge into b/g porn.

And we wish they'd done it when they truly looked exceptional. Before the booze, sun-worshipping, and street drugs started making wrinkles and lines.
