Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital Therapist Moonlights as Porn Star (NSFW)

The Czech presidential election was fun but PraguePig.com’s favourite tabloid story of the past few weeks involved a therapist at the Bohnice psychiatric hospital who makes porn movies in her spare time.

Under the headline, “Ve dne léčila, v noci točila …porno!” (“By day she treats [patients], by night she shoots porno!”), Blesk’s Jaroslav Hajný breathlessly explains how 37-year-old Andrea Scheansová — whose aliases include Anesa Chance, Caroline and plain old Andrea — had “appeared in several films, including some with lesbian themes.”

The public interest angle for this story seems to be limited to the fact that Scheansová is a colleague of Dr. Karel Nešpor, a celebrated psychiatrist whose credits include various TV appearances, newspaper columns and books.

Scheansová has co-written several books on addiction with Nešpor but there’s no suggestion of a relationship between the two or, thankfully, that the 60-year-old Nešpor has appeared in any of Scheansová’s movies.

Bohnice director Martin Hollý tells Blesk that Scheansová still works at the hospital but has agreed to a change of position. (No pun intended.)

Or as Hajný puts it, “the therapist no longer handles alcoholics but now works in a less conspicuous area.” (Pun possibly intended.)

Asked to comment, Scheansová tells Blesk her lawyer has advised her not to talk to them, because anything she says could harm her.
