what has happened to all the 21st sextury web sites?

I was a long time subscriber to their sites but finally gave up and canceled my membership because I was finding it more and more difficult to download anything. Now I have not been able to even bring up any of their sites. If I try to go to one my browser times out. Anyone else had this problem? Anyone know what is going on? I tried emailing the site several times but no one ever replied. They have amazing content but it's no good if I can't even get the site to come up or download it!

I do have a problem with them also though. Every time I try to make a subscription, after pressing the "submit" button the site blocks (any of them) and I'm unable to do anything.

Somebody else had/still has this problem?

Do not tell me you using some sort of Bills Internet Explorer.
Have you tried Firefox 3 - the best browser in the world - with a new clean profile?

IE? - Never ... I'm using Firefox 2.0 ...
I don't know what the problem could be. All other sites I tried to subscribe to worked without a problem ...

There has been some posts about it in the big 21sextury thread.

I had this problem as well and I contacted them, they told the company that's "screening" their sites to while-list me but it didn't help.

However they were very nice and I got a full refund.

I have tried different times, different days, different computers and still no luck getting the sites to come up. I know at one time they said they were having problems with attacks on their servers. Maybe that is still a problem, because if their servers are being bombarded with attacks the exact thing would happen that has been happening to me when I try to go to them.

No if you can't connect properly it's because the "screening-company" is restricting your access - obviously they shouldn't in many cases but apparently 21sex needs to use them to make sure that their sites aren't attacked... just too bad some of us have become 'black-listed' somehow.

Again they were extremely nice about the issue and I wouldn't hesitate to sign up again sometime in the future.

Here's the initial reply I got:

Sorry for any inconveniences. In case the process is not successful I will refund your membership. Also for the waste of time I would like to offer you free access to any of our websites in addition once the access problem is fixed.

I got a followup that I was white-listed but unfortunatly it didn't help and I got a refund.

I sent them an email. I guess I'll see what happens. I'll be disappointed if I can't ever access their sites again!
