I don't know what you guys think,
BUT I think its time for Pierre to release those locked up auditions.
Also, it would be great to see new auditions from Woodman.
Tony is doing a good job as well
But those WOODMAN auditions are the best.

The Private series is not a casting or audition, the just steal the idea of Pierre's casting series to create something similar but not with girls doing their first anal on camera.
I will wait for Pierre's originals.

He said in an interview recently he would release some casting DVDs on his own label but not straight away because he would also have to show excerpt scenes of movies still pretty new. I guess you'll have to wait at least a year or more...

It all depends on how good Woodman Entertainment fairs.

we talk alot here about buying rather than illegally downloading movies to support the people making the films. If Pierre would release those auditions, I feel Woodman Entertainment would make more money. I'd would definitely buy those.

I only say that because the figures so far have been rather disappointing, I don't think it's a secret.
It's not a moral issue about illegal downloading, it's a very practical thing: if WE goes belly up, no castings.
We will have to wait for Pierre to find a new partnership and it might take years.

I think in this day and age, the porn industry is like any other -- whoever can make it fastest and cheapest sets the bar for everyone else. There is room for niche players but they have to have a product that no one else produces. The castings would be something like that. His other productions seem like the bigger budget movies produced a years ago. Not sure how much of a market there is for that, no matter how beautiful and willing the girls are.

Of course Woodman has a reputation and will always have an audience given the quality of his stuff but I'm not sure it will be all that big, unfortunately. So his business model may be flawed.

That's true, and we've already discussed that point. I'm just stating the situation as it is.
Also think about this: without sites like ours or Machomedia and, most of all, without Internet boards people wouldn't even know about new releases, not until the official announcements. Does anybody remember how it was in the 90's?
Now we know about stuff months and even a whole year before it happens. Plus, Internet glory even less enduring and the Internet crowd is even more fickle. Sites create new starlets every week, after 10 days they're doing dps. After that, either they become full time pornstars or they're already burned out. Either way, they're one of the many.

I agree. If it weren't for a place like this, I wouldn't know about new movies until they showed up in our local shop if ever (the shop carries maybe 50 titles at any time).

..... I do remember the 90´s. That was the years of "Last Man Standing" and "Die Hard 3", right?

Back at those years there was VHS instead of DVD. Plus - compaired to nowadays prices - porn was incredible expensive. I remember that for a Private Film (or Video Magazine, whatever) in VHS format I was paying DM 110,00 (which is around Euro 55,00), while now a brandnew Private flick in DVD format would cost me little less than Euro 25,00.

Which means 30 Euro less for much better quality nowadays.

Yes, we reached the days of "Die Hard 4".

Unfortunately, not only the prices went down drastically. So did the respect people have to the actresses/actors and towards each another. Don´t tell me it isn´t true - I see it nearly every day when I read this (and other) forum(s).

But that is (yet) another topic and I do not want to start this one here....

That has Mary Elizabeth Winstead, so it's not bad at all :).
