Hi All,

This is a recurrent theme in the biz, models not showing up for the shoot when producers, assistants, makeup, location, plane, accomodation have been booked and essentially shooting down the business instead of shooting. Not that it's the right time for that, with the declining revenues and competition heating up for the remaining portion of the biz.

So, at the request of Petra (MODEL-MANIA) (but I expect other agencies and producers to pitch in very soon), here's a preliminary black list. The models will be also tagged in their modelcard, so it will be possible to search directly in the index. Tags are not forever, so good behaviour will probably earn being taken off the list.

Lastly, it is interesting to see that models who used to be 100% reliable become over time unreliable. When I shot Silvie Deluxe she was like a swiss clock. Always on time and never a doubt about her being at the shoot or not. Apparently this has changed. But Petra will write more.

" I hope this idea of creating a Black list will be a big help for all of the serious agencies, photographers, producers and last not least the models.

We all have experience with unreliable models, it has happened to all of us , that a model fails to show up at the shoot without any apology or explanation and then just disappears,
not answering any calls or messages.

The problem is that the communication between agencies doesn't really work and these models take advantage of it. If they mess up with one agent they still have a possibility to mess
up with other ones.
Everybody is losing time and money but these girls don't care and still are able to make some cash somewhere else before they do something bad again.

This needs to stop!

The business is already tough by itself, we don't need to work with the people who don't respect anything and anyone.
Please add the names of unreliable girls and help us to stop this happening.

Criteria to get on and get out of Black List:

If a girl has failed to show up for a shoot without explanation on 2 or more occasions and has not telephoned both photographer and agent to explain or apologize within 1 week of missed shoot their name will automatically be added to the list.
The black list will be updated monthly and models names will be only removed by consent of those photographers/agents who have been let down."

Thank you
Petra Horakova

Vanessa Jordin - didn't show up at the airport to fly for the shoot in New Zealand, she got sick 2 hours before the actual flight. After few days she sent confirmation from doctor which didn't look authentic.
1 year later same client wanted to give her one more chance, again she didn't appear at the airport, night before the production she all confirmed. Since then no answers to phone calls or messages.
Until now 3 weeks later, she didn't apologize, simply no respect.

Whitney - since this girl started she has been always unreliable, due to many requests from photographers to try to book her anyway, she didn't show up to 3 jobs out of 3 ! No apology, no explanation.

Ferrera Gomez, failed to show up to the shoot many times, 2 times didn't fly for job abroad. Once walked off the set because she had to "wait 2 hrs for her scene", without saying to anyone she is leaving.
Another case, she was on the phone with the agency texting for 2 hrs, saying she is late for the shoot because of traffic, photographer waited for all that time, Ferrera eventually never showed up that day.

Candy Love, didn't show up 3 times for the shoot, agency booking her jobs for the afternoons, She is still not able to wake up for scenes at 3 p.m.

Anastasia D. ( Monika B) - didn't show up twice for the shoot, one of them was a shoot in Carribean islands. Her excuse being sick was not true one because at the same time she was posting new photos
on her Facebook profile enjoying time with her boyfriend.

seems some girls are serial offenders!

Ferrera Gomez - got booked 2 times for work coming with her car, she never ever showed up. than booked for work in prague for 10 am, but i canceled her the day before. she than wrote sms at 4 am in the morning, that this is fine because she is still at a party and couldnt come anyway! ;-. seems she is more into escort than modelling!

Whitney - booked for work abroad, 5 weeks in advance, one week before that shooting she completely disapeared, not even the agent could reach her anymore for several weeks

Lucy White - she confirmed job for next day, i bought bus ticket 1 hour after her confirmation and sent it to her via email, she than started to pretend she didnt get ticket, than she pretended that she cant open the pdf file, than i send her the booking code and than she finally didnt response anymore. :::

Yes unfortunately this is true, some girls really don't care at all. I completely agree about Ferrera Gomez and Whitney. Hopefully not too many agents give them jobs.

Hi, this is a very good idea a Black List for Models who rob our money and time and never send SMS or a Sorry, when they dont want to shoot. So stupid these young girls, i hate to handle.

She agree for a shooting in Stuttgart and i drove all the way down to her and she never answer again.

BLACK LIST = very good - to share these Informations and send unreliable girls to hell !!

No offense intended, but I sincerely hope this thread will come to a very quick and painless end.

Why is that ? Do you sincerely hope that all models will suddenly become professional, polite and respectful, so there is no need for this sort of thread ?
Or are you palying internet cop acting as if such a thread is disrespectful to models ? ... If that's the case, then you probably haven't been stood up without any warning, or worse, under fake excuses.

This isn't about settling scores, but about warning others. So thanks a lot for this thread. Good idea.

I get accused of being an internet cop by someone who supports a black list in a public forum? You surely must be able to get the irony of that.

FWIW, I have no problem with a blacklist or some other system to warn industry insiders at all. I do have a problem with this list being available to the public at large. Whatever the noble intentions might have been, by exposing this kind of thing to 'the world', the list is bound to be abused and misused. Why is the porn industry always so keen to air its dirty laundry in public?

About this not being about settling scores, wanna bet how long this will last if you don't put some 'due process' rules in place (which can only be done successfully within a closed environment)?

Speaking about due process, shouldn't this black list of performers be accompanied by a black list of agents and producers, so models can be warned about who to avoid as well? Or is that disrespectful to agents and producers?

I thought the thread was only available to industry people, since I was linked through an outside source, and not directly via the search function. Sorry about that then. I agree it should not be on the public forum.

let the witches burn in front of publicity! :::

when it is public the blacklisted models can see that entry by themself and i bet this will be also a good motivation for them to change their attitude. i dont think it will be a reason for somebody who lands on a profile of a black listed model to stop masturbating on them, if they will even notice that small label. i can imagine some porn consumers rather will associate black list with some kind of interracial stuff. :::

really guys, what some of this models do is not even unprofessional it is simply harming. it is business and there you can not do what you want, reliability is most important.

and dont worry the models mostly know each other (because of castings and czech party scenes) and they share experience, once you have a very bad reputation as agent or producer within biz u will wonder why nobody wants to work with u anymore. but blacklist of producers and agents would make sense for newcomers to protect them from bad experience who often lead to a very short career.

Interresting this thread. Makes me smile a bit, and curious the same time how the industry will handle it
What I know, is if a model become incorrect and unprofessionat to one agent, producer, immediately become interresting to his competitors  And models start to play with it verry well. This is sadly the way how things are working and will never change.

If this Blacklist works, it may reduce the drug use or problem drinking of some models. If they can't get work because they were too stoned or drunk to show up and it becomes a consistent pattern like some hollywood types, well, there's nothing like "economics" to get a person's attention. Lindsey Lohan is well on her way to that fate, thanks to loving her parties, drugs, and booze more than her job. At some point it will get bad enough that she won't get work. That is what it often takes for a person to take stock of what they are doing.

There's no reason why it couldn't work for the porn industry.

However, there have to be some safeguards. Some of the agencies, directors and producers in porn are not very honest.

Perhaps there should be a blacklist for them.
