Completely hysteria, while testing never was the main problem in this case. Also there is a so called 4th generation HIV duo test, consisting of combined p24 gen test and ELISA antibody test. That one is standard in Germany, more reliable (from week 2) and much cheaper than HIV PCR.

You don't have to test more often. Even if you test less you can still catch an infection sooner with the window fase of these DNA tests being 2 weeks instead of 3 months. Also prices might come down if these test become more standard.

Testing more often with a 6 times shorter window fase of two weeks will make it very hard for a virus to spread and it sure as hell is a lot cheaper than that PreP bullshit. That some countries choose PreP over better testing techniques and scemes shows there are some double agendas...
