Design a movie

Had a thought about the couple of hundred dvd's in my collection..
I generally buy the disc for one scene.
That may be the actress, or the type of scene..
I would love someone like Devils, Evil Angel ( Christophe preferably) Have a menu of talent with a menu of acts.
I have no idea what it costs to make a movie but I assume that the more acts in a scene the higher the cost..
So I figure that the type of movie I would want would be cost prohibitave.
My solution is that a membership is opened with the oportunity to purchase the additional costs of such a movie..
Say a movie that was being made anyway cost $20k and the perversion that the forum wanted cost another grand or so that the additional costs were split across the participating membership ..

( I would have started this list with Sineplex but I am as frustrated as everyone that my favourite studio seems to be on permanent hold )

Would love so feed back on this ..

I'm not sure I understand how this would work. First of all, what about the constraints of the medium? You can't just keep tacking on more scenes, you know. Eventually you're going to run out of space. If you are suggesting that the producer just keep adding discs, then bear in mind that mastering, packaging and authoring all become more expensive. That is to say, you won't just be paying for an additional shoot, but for everything that is involved in getting it to market.

It seems to me that 'fostering' a porn star is much more likely to happen on the internet, where it is all about single scenes. However, there are still issues of trust involved, as there is no fixed schedule of fees - actresses charge what the market will bear. How do you assure yourself that the money goes where it is supposed to go, instead of getting skimmed by some dishonest producer? What happens if not enough money is raised to get a particular actress? Do you get your money back? Maybe yes, maybe no...

Furthermore, what happens when the scene comes out and your favorite act/position/whatever is not given the amount of time and attention that you think it deserves?

Talk about your can of worms...

For sure I see your point.. I thought the movie would be the standard 3 - 4 scenes...
As for where the money goes .. I have no idea where it goes now. I assume that a good operator would take care of it's talent and ensure the trust was built from there. I have seen a doco that sugested that there was a set fee for various acts, however that was some years ago.. Rita Faltoyano was in it ...
Havent thought thru the whole senario but can see that for a little more production cost I could see my favs paired up..
