Ukraine Bans Porn Unless It's "Medical"

Mosnews is reporting that all pornography has been outlawed in the Ukraine. President Viktor Yushchenko signed the law today over the objections of human rights activists and artists who had asked him to veto it. Now pornography can be kept only “for medical purposes,” according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Justice. Penalties for possession of porn range from a fine to up to three years in prison. The Ukraine has long had a reputation as a source for child pornography, and the passage of the law is seen by some as move to protect children's rights.

After that I'm afraid the next country will be Russia.

Still sad that child pornography production, which has to be banned by all means, leads to such radical solutions.

Crappy law i mean, porn child will keep going they are already breaking the law so nothing new there, sad but true, such a poor country is a shame, thought porn was already banned there or shooting porn movies something like that, think i read something about that ages ago.Wonder if nude magazines like playboy will be banned too.Theres no porn production there so couldnt care less still is a shame for UA citizens as they are losing rights,

While children should always be protected, I feel they are just using this as an excuse to enforce this ridiculous law. When did consenting adults having sex & nudity become a bad thing?

anyway there was no porn business in Ukraine
it will not prevent ukrainian women to do abroad what yhey want to do, as in the past
it will force ukrainian men towards the prostitution or towards sex with risk of diseases
