Sorry to hear that, but thats why I was always laughing to the title of this thread. Private is right where opap has written.

It's just so frustrating, because the set (a cool yacht/ship) was great, the camerawork great, girls really horny and up for it and the guys just kill it stone dead. Totally baffling. That's the most frustrating bad porn for me. If you take a punt on a new stable and the girls are a bit disinterested, the camerawork a bit basic etc. you just avoid the stable - it happens - but there was really no need for this to be a dud. It looked like a Private film in every regard other than how the guys go about their business.

I just don't get modern male porn actors. The camera rolls and they just can't wait to get at the girls' throats, can they? It's horrible brutish stuff. Not about sex at all but power and dominance. I guess they've been in the game so long they can't get it up until they've humiliated the young newbie before them. Absolutely no idea how anyone gets off on it. Horses for courses.

I don't need "love or care" but I do want chemistry and for the guys not to treat the girls badly. Like pretty much all porn made between 1999 and 2006, in other words.

Of course. But my gripe is also with Private for endorsing his "bully boy" product. I'm a long-standing Private consumer of 10+ years and just feel annoyed that they have given their stamp to this.

I also suspect that directors - especially newly starting out ones - might just be powerless against these veteran porn guys. They might not anticipate the aggressive stuff but then just let it slide rather than stop the action and risk upsetting the flow. This is the only way I can explain Christoph Clark, for example, allowing David Perry in particular to do it in his recent stuff. I find it very hard to believe that Christoph asks Perry, Mike Angelo etc. to grab the girls' throats, it's counter to everything that he's done for many, many years. And yet it goes on in his recent Angel Perverse titles.

It's simply everywhere now.

i heard thru the grapevine that he is actually greek and behind the full magik view effort, incl the cruise ship. MV is bread and butter for agents and actresses now, so hope it wont tank soon otherwise you will notice a lot less porn really fast. i also overheard they have a huge shoot overhang, pretty much like the diamonds'

Anyway the whole "magnificent comeback" concept of the Magik/exPrivate was a fault from the beginning. And be glad you didnt hear the horrible stories behind the set that I have heard from a good source.

And speaking of demand for violent/brutal/not passinate porn - just look around yourself - its how the society behaves now, loose morals everywhere, so what would you expect? Its us...Honey here, honey there times are over.
