do i need ace mega codecs to get a smooth picture? i'm watching on a nearly new PC with 10mb broadband.

No on webcam the pic quality is a bit granular.
It's OK for me.

Frigo, click on Extras - Optionen - Netzwerk, don't use proxy for mms !
