Yes, the term and the concept have become muddied for me by the very fact that i
have gained some insight, more or less, into the personalities of a number of girls thru the internet (Here @EBI, their web-site/blogs, facebook & especially MySpace.) I'd even daresay i've become close friends (virtually, that is) with a handful of starlets, complementing (but not abjectly worshiping), flirting, joking around, but ultimately slipping into a kind of personal "pen-pal" relationship. This is where all sorts of ambivalence arises, as the distinction between fan & friend inevitably becomes blurred (fortunately, i'm not also involved professionally, or i'd be really mixed-up

I actually find her quite an intimidating figure, both sexually and, yes, intellectually. I mean i just couldn't picture myself in the sack with a demon like her.. But i could see myself discussing film and music with her.. and if were fucked up enuf, well maybe i'd get nasty on her
