Seems strange to me that he made all that long way, just to help another company. :?
Not to think of the chances he missed...

Maybe Chris is right? Rocco wasn't there in 2008 and also no other producers besides the cheap ones. And are Sineplex and Devils really there? Looks more like all work is done by Russians and then the movies are distributed by these 2 US companies.

And maybe only saving money isn't enough. How are the working conditions there? The medical examinations (HIV, ...)? And isn't porn illegal in Russia?

According to Gapelover Jay Sin will shooting there soon. But I have not much hope that SPB will hold it's place as one of the capitals of Europe porn.

Maybe Erik came first as an actor in order to see how people were doing business in Russia, and maybe he just didn't liked it ...

Main reason must be that when you are doing something borderline like porno in a country like Russia I guess it is all about mafia and corruption, so you lose big money.

Only cheap companies like sineplex and devil's still shoot scenes there.

St. Petersburg is still the only place where you can find every week new girls, and belive me a lot of company would like to came here for work. The problem in that: they afraid.
Also no locations like in Buda, not a lot of performers, no english etc.

About my personal situation in Dvd's market Gapelover is not completely right. I don't sell my content to Dvd market for one easy reason: I DON'T NEED. I have my network, I update 15 time a month, Dvd's market is a just a way for buy cigarettes and die laughing, talking about anything with people who would like to do businnes on internet, but it would be better if they go in pension.
Also becouse (and here he enough right) is more easy to pull off a spider from a hole than earn money from a Dvd's company.
I sell content to Dvd's market when a company pay me the right amount of money and pay me cash, I'm tired of doing the bank, and I'm tired of money headaches.

I agree. DVD is not dead but actually efforts cost more than results because of piracy and very bad distribution networks (professionality very low). So it is better and easier for independents to reach audience through Internet. Porn is always on the edge of technology (like Betacam in 80's) and this is still true.
But Internet and digital content are even too much democratic for those wanting profits!
This is a big problem because content costs and we cannot imagine to cut and cut on the costs above the line...
We'll see.
Sorry if I am really off-topic!
DP and cum are part of porn; DAP and swallows are for porn-stars!

Is the suicide of Dvd's company. I sent same of my movie to one big american, do u know the answer??
Something like "... we like your content, but you're not famous enough to be distributed by us, if you want we can buy your content and we will insert in the movies of our directors..."

It is not better, and also it is not easier to reach audience through Internet, is just the only wayout for who, like me, is young and does't have any friends in american Dvd's company.
So every time the same content in Dvd's market, and a lot of costumer are tired of the same 10 ungarian girls and 20 americans.

The first reason, in my opinion, why the Dvd market is down is that 80% of Dvds are simply boring.

You're right, Giorgio. So much stuff today, especially shot in the US, but also from Europe is simply boring today. So many directors shot the same, same girls, same style, not enough variation. The really good time of porn is over. You only have to compare the stuff Rocco released in the 90s and the movies he makes today. Not that his new movies are really bad, but in comparison to his old shit, it's lame.

Definitely agree.
At least because of this its worth to try new things and new style, like Giorgio Grandi does or Fred2KN at Parliament Adult does for example.

The problem in Dvd's market, in my opinion, is that: there is not space for new cameraman, new director and for new ideas.
Rocco is millioner, what the fucking he care to shoot one set in 10 hours like he did 5 years ago?? He can sell everything becouse is famous (but the quality is still one of the best becouse he works every time with very good actors).
Dvd market is like that: the more big company, with the more biggest name is the top. Small company with good contents can not survive. In internet is different, can survive only who have good contents (LIKE IT MUST BE).
I think I'm one of the last in thet bussines that looks porno movie, and belive me: really often big names are shooting big shit, like in europe as in usa.
Is time that same "Barons" stops to clog the market and gives space for a new generation as has happened 7 or 8 years ago in USA with ex european actors.

Belive me is really frustrating to hear that your content are the top, but you're not famous enough to be able to sign that Dvd's.
How the fucking can I be famous in Dvd market without the support of a big company???
Bullshit
