of course! i have officially 16M by my provider, but when i run speed test it hardly gets above 10-12M!

so are we actually talking about kilobytes or kilobits here? as 16000kilobits is only like 20mb connection, which is pretty slow imo

in germany the providers advertise everything in kbit/s. a 16,000 kbit/s internet and phone flatrate is about 25 EUR per month.

Why are your speeds so fast? How much do you pay per month?

I'm on fibre. Ran Speedtest early this morning and got 80.64 Mb/s down and 16.10 Mb/s upload, although ping was far higher than usual at 13 ms (I'll often get ping of 5 ms!).

Cost is 25 GBP per month, plus telephone line rental (another tenner as paid a year in advance)
