In case where he found his content on the internet, he is able to trace back to that user. I wonder if that is the way to combat piracy, is to track it down to the subscriber who posted the content and terminate that account

Not true !
This year the Venus was twice bigger than in 2011 ( the hall 20 was closed last year ! ) and they have got 7 000 more visits than the previous one. First and last day was more calm that second and third but trust me there was a lot of people !!!
But it depends also where is your booth, because since two years they have done a strange system of section and if you're in the business section for instance, you will not see more than 20 % of the visitors.
It's the reason why many professionals have complained this year, but me, I'm very happy and if you put an eyes on the Venus topic in my forum, you'll see there was a large public to see my six beauties on stage ... and Barcelona was also very cool !!!

I'm not sure if there is anything like this in Europe but in the US several companies have cable channels or PPV. Hustler and Penthouse have had this for a long time but Brazzers, Mofos and BangBros have followed suit. I wonder if this is an outlet that might be expanded on?
Much better in HD in big flat screen than on computer...if you have such a thing.

Sounds wise but BS in reality. ANY digital signature embedded in copyrighted material gets stripped before uploading by organized uploaders and rls gps or if it was still intact the stuff was put online by "kids" who doesn't care (they use stolen subs or crack pwds) or someone who stole it either. And regular user gets beated again.

Well piracy sure harms porn, but sometimes it is hard for me to belive it is that bad. that vanilla porn shit is still shot alot. Sure anal scenes has decreased alot, but sometimes i think it would be better too shoot half of what compnays shoot that vanilla porn where there is like 100 other sites doing and focus on some other expensive niche like anal or gangbangs.

For example 21sextury has quite a few scenes with almost 1 million views and many many scenes with several hundred thousand. it is quite hard to belive they are stuggling that bad.

...it's called capitalism - economics 101. For the most part, the "demise of porn as we know it" as lamented by the bulk of old porn directors and companies is largely self-inflicted:

1. They are shockingly slow in identifying and addressing public demand (e.g. the proliferation of DIY and live porn such as mydirtyhobby)
2. They are either lacking investment capabilities or are unwilling to make investments that match those of MANWIN
3. They are shockingly slow in keeping up with new technologies such as social media

These glaring shortcomings by far outweigh the extrinsic factors, such as toughened legislation on shooting porn, or piracy via P2P and RS. To my knowledge, most porn torrent sites have been (rightly) shut down, so directors and companies should not indulge in scapegoating but step up their game…fast! MANWIN is quicker, smarter, more responsive to public demand, and their financial assets are in another league. Porn isn't dying - porn companies are dying because most have been too sluggish in the past...
