Crowdsourcing - a possibility for porn?

Many of you have heard about the new trend with crowdsourcing sites as kickstarter.com. The idea is very simple, an inventor/producer/company with a product or idea presents that idea and then tries to more or less sell advance copies of the product.

If the collection succeeds it means there is very little ecomomic risk for the project creator. The advantage for the "crowd" is that they can finance exactly what they want to see created and be part of the process diskussion.

Considering the constant wishes for JYLC to come back, sineplex to ease DRM or access, of the prior calls for teencore sites to change positions or actors (i'm aware that some these examples might currently be incorrect or fixed), would this not be an interesting concept for customers and producers alike?

Obviously there would be some project that grab the money and run but in the long run, those that create good reputations would continuesly get refinanced.

Well sure it might work, but you really need some reputable director to do this or people are reeally hesitant to put any money on it.

I had this idea as well for a website. I would post several girls and the viewers could donate to the one they would too see the most. Or perhaps suggest their own girl. Highest donaters would get a picture of the girl holding their name on a sign. Or her panties. Or highest bidders could decide how or where she would be fucked etc. Or even: highest bidder gets to fuck her You could think of many much more.

If I had the technical skills to develop a websit like this, I would do it. A problem are the girls though, many porngirls are unreliable and can cancel their shoot at the last moment. Imagine the viewers donating money to shoot girl X, then she steps out of the bussiness.

Anyone have any ideas how to make a site like this?

actually u can order something like this from tainster already.... u should check out their offer for their livecam shows. u can order the girl and the type of action and then u can specify what u want. after that its a question if the girl will do it or not but thats kinda natural dont u think?

What I've always wanted to see is a bounty system for existing porn girls who don't do anal (or whatever you're into). Would Lexi Belle take an ass pounding for a million bucks? Considering the money people are throwing at Kickstarter, I think we could answer that question pretty quick.

hm.... this is something they use on "some" camsites where the performer sets a certain amount they wanna reach and they perform a show which they have stated as a topic beforehand. should b possible to implement for porn provided that the girl is willing to do it.

1/ The idea itself is not bad.
2/ It highly reminds me of so-called pyramid games like am.way, herbalife, ...you name it without its obvious pyramid
3/ Porn world is strange and ordinary laws are not usually applicable for whatever reason

Good point. I'm not an attorney and I don't know Common law, but I think it might not automatically give you a legality problems.
Probably it would depend on the form of executing the production. And yes, in most: buying porno = self enjoyment = legal, producing legal porno = entertainment business = legal,

When the porn crisis started I posted this idea here as a means to help our cute Eurobabes and directors in trouble here on EBI if I recall right.
I still think it would be worth trying - especially if the crowd sourcing a projects are people like us here on EBI sharing a minimum common vision and trust.

Why not start a poll with the 10 most popular EBI still active babes by thread views?
And than just count who gets most votes...while at the same time collect hypothetical donor sums in case the girl is available for such an EBI crowdsourced project.
We sure would find a director shooting it for us!

For me, I can well immagine to pay up to the cost of 5-10 dvds for a scene with a good girl pushing her enveloppe. Just get 20 fans together and we have it!
