Your Eurobabe dvd collection (nostalgy tread)

I just recently had a bit of a cull of my collection and got rid of maybe 25-30 DVDs. Generally ones that were heavy on throat-grabbing, arse slapping, guys ordering the girls about and generally treating them badly etc., stuff that turns me off even if everything else about the scene is good. Glad I did as it's a kind of "addition by subtraction" as I'm one of those who always gravitates towards stuff that doesn't hit the mark....kind of a "Hmm have I really given that one enough of a chance?" sort of thing. I do the same with music at times and it just stops you enjoying the good stuff really.

I was pretty ruthless as some of them had some good non-aggressive/abusive scenes on there but I'm applying a "zero tolerance" attitude to that kind of thing - if it's heavy in even 1 scene the whole DVD is out.

So down to just over 200 and all the better for it I think.

Definitely i got more than 750 original DVD
As before in VHS format i started with Rocco,CC and Jules Jordan movies,in DVD i started mainly with Sineplex(the time that Jay Sin was working for them)
Of course i still keep all my DVDs...FOREVER
About why i´m not buying as many DVDs as before,i got 2 answers:
-I´m scared that DVD format will disapear forever and i could find a device to play it in the future
-There are not so many movies and directors than few years ago

me still owns some 100 old vhs (mostly stuff that - unfortunately - never ever was released on dvd) and about some 500 dvds.

as for dvd: rocco, jylc and clarke as well as max hardcore, john thompson and other movies with pissing scenes - guess that makes me a pervert ....

else? zero to none american stuff. not touches me. boring. especially those stereotypes (aka american porn-gals). BORING. tons of tattoos and simply boring. american/canadian guys shooting in (eastern) europe: those really were the days .... strange that these actor/directors nowadays just shoot americanas ... well, whatever. nobody forces me to watch their stuff and that is why i don´t.

regarding old days: i absolutely agree that videorama and dbm used to be big in the 1990´s (as well as xy-pictures, sap-pictures. vto and others were), but: back than there was no internet and you simply would never ever know that a video that (let´s say) videorama announced to be a German production actually was a French/German co-production, or a video that xy-pictures announced to be made in Germany by German director ralph scott actually was an Italian production or whatelse ...
so god bless the internet - it gives us all a little more knowledge than we used to have before .... period
