It's strange how 40-50 years ago people were so keen to dismiss rape as something not really important. But now, it seems to be the trend to dismiss the condamnation of people to the like of 10 years in a russian prison as something equally unimportant. 8 years in a russian prison. Think about their family. Their life is more or less broken.

I'm not excusing them, these guys committed a crime and they were punished for it. I just don't see the point of shouting with the wolves.

It was not only about rape, but also unlawful imprisonment, violence and body harm. if she would not have been jumped out of window she probably could have been killed. from that pov 7-8 years are the lower edge. but if they have to sit that time in full lenghts in a russian prison (what for sure is not a joyful place, especially for rapists) it is alright.

Totaly agree with Am0rln0! Btw, I read she was not the first victim of these guys! Yes,7 and 8 years are the lowest that they can have,probably, 15 will be better for each one!
