too bad this site does cost a fortune! more than $10 per vid for a ridicuolus 640x480 format (which makes more than $600 for the whole 58-video package!), one must be pretty much in love to get into that sort of deal. Count me out.

yep, at that price, a 1920x1080 format should be a prerequisite... Should this be the case, I could indulge in buying one of those vids as a birthday present but certainly not for a miserable 640x480 format. Are these people stuck in the late 90'? paroxysmia, as far as I know, videotaping in HD format has now become unexpensive enough to make it affordable by almost anyone. Whatever site it is, it could be runned with 2012 concepts... but if those people want to run their site with tacky ideas, it's really up to them. You only make the business you deserve after all and it will definitely be without my money!

The people who "run" the site are not the producers of the videos. Everyone can sign up, provide some paperwork and upload and sell his/her movies on this platform. (Same as with mydirtyhobby, beside both platforms now belongs to the same company)

Alternatively, the owner of the site could very well set incentive criteria such as the lower the video format is, the less money the amateur gets at the end. If they are not shooting the videos, they still can favor a better quality in setting up appropriate rules. But I agree, that's their business, not ours.
