Oh boy, where to begin...
It's pretty disingenuous to somehow imply that users here suddenly changed their attitude to PB out of the blue. Let's be clear here... What WE don’t like and WE feel disappointed by, is that the content released within the last three months has changed so significantly from what it was before. Originally you had scenes with an average of 50 guys with impressive loads, often with a girl who is completely unique to the site (the Ukrainians, Alma, Nicole and Victoria) and people were perfectly fine with paying such a steep price, because of the unprecedented and high quality material. Then you announced a "new season" and began releasing scenes with less than 30 loads ranging from mostly tiny to average (with very few exceptions), with pornstars we've seen in other studios multiple times (apart from Nicole Black).
Yet despite this change, the price has remained the same as before.. you're still expecting people to hand over $99 a month for vastly inferior scenes. At one point you released a scene with just 9 loads! Now don't get me wrong, Nicole Black is lovely.. but come one, you really expect that everyone will just deal with that, and not have anything to say about it? Yes I know that you have different membership options, and people can choose a cheaper option, but the new scenes are only available as a Diamond user, and some other scenes cannot be downloaded without it either.
I can see that there have been various efforts to offer discounts, and special offers on the membership (which I'm grateful for) and it has helped to keep people subbed. I also completely get that you had to take measures to produce new content once the stock material had dried up, and you're working with what you have. The problem is that some people just don't care about this, they'll just see that the product they were paying for isn't the same as it was, and they'll decide to stop spending their money. You don't help that situation by censoring people's comments pointing out their issues with the new content, and only publishing what you like.
I mean it's your website, it's entirely up to you what you want to see on there, but it's also up to the customer if they decide to cancel or not. So.. we are not in anyway telling anyone to leave, and there is no concerted campaign to "bury PB", if you look at the adultdvdtalk thread, people have expressed the same views, and there are Twitter posts along the same lines too. One significant complaint you haven't addressed at all... There was no update on the site for two whole weeks! When you did update, no reason was given for the delay. Failing to provide an update on a site, without any explanation is really really bad, it doesn't look good at all!
Look no one here is more passionate about PB here than me (and chris!), I do not want to see PB die at all, far from it! I want to see PB thrive and grow, and continue to produce that amazing content that attracted such a large following in the beginning. I try to be as constructive as I can in my views on the new content, I believe in being harsh but fair, and not sugar coating the glaring issues that exist. I do not believe that you don't care about your content, I think you're just having difficulty in getting back to where you were before. You'll get there I'm sure, and then the membership will increase again.
I think you're still a relatively new site, and you're still kind of trying to find your feet a bit, if that's fair to say? I think you've done a good job for the most part, the site presentation is great, very user friendly and functions very smoothly, I've never encountered any issues. The blog is a nice feature too of course, not many sites have that kind of thing, so it's a very welcome addition. I certainly have no plans to cancel membership anytime soon...
As for the girl's private lives being invaded... I think it's very unfair to blame all of us for that, other than those making the offending posts. Anything that contained any real names, and other personal info was instantly reported by me, some of them were removed, some not. I even suggested to a mod that we put a stop to anyone posting any personal photos of the girls, but I didn't get a response. The Ukrainians personal data was being shared on places like 2ch in late 2015/early 2016, they had already been identified by stalkers long before I had even set foot in this thread, nevermind some of the regulars now. After the "scandal", lots of people were looking into the girls social media in an effort to find all information about them shooting in Spain, in order to provide evidence to show no harm came to them. I don't need to explain this anymore, we've covered the topic many times already.
I don't condone anyone harassing these girls, I've made that clear multiple times. These girls deserve respect for what they did, and a right to privacy outside of their porn lives in the same way other actresses do. The last social media photos I posted was back in February, others have continued to occasionally post photos from accounts that were deleted long ago. Anyway, I'm glad that posting said photos are not permitted any longer, and I'll be sure to report anyone doing so in the future, in order to abide by the new rule announced by staff.
Anyway, I hope this has helped you to better understand our frustrations, and aid in the battle to address the criticisms for the future. You have the potential to become one of the most successful porn sites ever devised, I have faith in you!
