There have been endless quarrels about Euro vs. US porn.
After ignoring US porn for at least 5 years over the past few months I checked some of those new US dap/dp girls - and I have to say I am impressed!

But even if she is one of my favourite American actresses - in spite of the fact that for me she is a bit too high - while generally I don't watch American porn, she doesn't even figure in my Top 10. It's a truism, but Eurobabes are much more natural than US babes, in look as well as in behaviour (I mean - much more natural for my Central-European perception). As a Central-European, I appreciate the girls who come from the region, who speak my language, whom I can understand or whose language is as beatiful as Hungarian, and who are much more Euro-next-door-style than American girls. For me the American porn, next-door-style or not, is too allien, to distant, too detached from my everday reality.

I always tend to like both the looks and the demeanor of Euro girls better than U.S. girls. Over-acting also seems more common in the U.S. talent pool. I don't find the performances too sexy because it all feels like too much of an act.

Regarding the material on LP, it does have more of that American feel of over-lighting and perhaps too little sensual build, or too formulaic scene progression. I do prefer a bit more attention to sensuality and scene setting as one could have found in the last decade with the likes of Rocco and Christoph Clark. The work of Cruel Media a few years ago was better in this regard, too. LP productions are sometimes very good because of the girls involved and the anal focus, but there is a lot that could be better in terms of setting a mood. There's not enough attention to such elements in most current work, and with Rocco now making an excessive amount of POV porn relative to his other work, I feel like he's mostly out of the picture. Cost cutting measures, I suppose.

I also hate the abundance of tattoos and that is certainly more prevalent on the U.S. site. I don't want to see girls that look like they've been sailors or in prison. I still think fake boobs are more a problem in the U.S., but it's worldwide. This is all a problem on the Kink scenes. Even when the action should be good, it is staged to feel too fake and most of the girls look the sailor / prison type.

By and large, I don't care for most porn, but when I do its almost always European based. I've tried the new scenes from Chechik and Applegate, but I just can't get into the way they perform. I'm American, but I guess I don't really get the American perspective, personally.
