Woodman Vs. Clark?

"Director" seems to have another meaning in gonzo, unintelligible to me. I remember Clark did a few features for Private, egocentric and therefore unimaginative. Whereas Woodman has a representative imagination and knows what is erotic, as well competent directorial skills. I don't know how he'd do in mainstream (probably okay--he's a very intelligent fellow), but he's the best we have in porn. If you asked "Woodman vs Stagliano or deRenzy" I might have had to think a moment.

That he "stole" from Ricaud is a big yeah-saying in my book, especially since he gave as good as he got, which is to say himself. Never fails to surprise me how people don't see in his "Castings" what I see, which is a huge personal generosity. I want to thank him for that, as well as continuing to make the feature porn movies I like.

Christoph is great but he didn't introduce the girls that Pierre did. Christoph gets to do nasty things to girls that Pierre discovered. Clark probably wouldn't have got to work with many of the girls he has if it weren't for The Mighty Woodman

I like both of them, they have different style. I appreciate Woodman's work, especially some of his Private work, but my porn collection has much more Clark than Woodman stuff so my vote goes to him.

I voted C. Clark because of unforgettable gang bang scenes with Karma in Euro Angels 15, with Kimberly in Euro Domination 8, and the DAP scenes in Hardball 23 (Kathy Anderson, Sandra di Marco ... ).
Also he seems very respectful to the girls.
Now P. Woodman is great also !
And Jean-Yves Lecastle has been very influential for both

The problem is, that Johnny_Walker didnt put his poll question clear. However, this at least provokes interesting discussions. Me, I understood the question first like you and voted full heartedly without thinking for CC.
Later, however, I felt like I´d have to change my vote. Because for me the merits of Woodman for Europorn, especially the Hundrets of girls he introduced and shot at least very fine as a director, too, outweight some pornographic shortcomings (like not paying enough attention to style, cloths, fashion, dap etc).

Now I see CC is leading the poll and Woodman, who probabely reads this tread as well, may feel a bit angry, but at the same time, he sees that his merits for Europorn are really aknowledged.
